Prof. Dr. Mona Momeni

Head of Clinic and Full Professor at Université Catholique de Louvain, Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc in Brussels. Cardiothoracic and vascular anesthesiologist, specialized in anesthesia for children and adults with congenital heart disease. Currently chair of the congenital subcommittee within EACTA. Member of the cardiothoracic and vascular subcommittee within ESA and ESA council representative for Belgium. President-elect of BeSARPP (Belgian Society of Anaesthesia and Resuscitation), effective November 2022.

Dr. Klaus Görlinger

Worked as a Senior Consultant in the University Hospital Essen, Germany, from December 1986 until June 2012. His main field of research is the development and implementation of point-of-care-guided algorithms for goal-directed perioperative bleeding management and patient blood management.

From 2009 to 2012 he worked as the chair of the section ‘Clinical Haemotherapy and Haemostasis Management’ of the German Interdisciplinary Association of Critical Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI) and as a member of the scientific subcommittee ‘Transfusion and Haemostasis’ and the ‘Task Force for Management of Severe Perioperative Bleeding’ of the European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA).

Since July 2012 he is the Medical Director of TEM Innovations GmbH, Munich, Germany, which since 2016 belongs to Werfen.
